What do you know about space?
We are currently producing a 10-part web video series for ESA. In each episode of this series, we ask one knowledge question on the topic of outer space. In the two-minute films of the series we ask one question each. Then, we show different people stating their opinion. Afterwards, we answer the question correctly and explain it. It’s fun watching the people answering, because you are sure you wouldn’t know the answer either in front of a camera.Read more

ESA à la CSI
In the US crime series CSI, investigators are interested in the smallest measurable traces to solve a case. For ESA, this is no different. In the Materialistic Laboratory, engineers search for faults in the material, which might cause the success or failure of a mission. In three short episodes, we show the ESA investigators at work – and how they solve the problem.Read more

Reporters visiting ESA (Copyright ARTE)
There is one more space shuttle liftoff scheduled for this summer before the shuttle is retired by NASA. This marks the end of an era, which began 50 years ago with Yuri Gagarin. On account of this event, X:enius, the science magazine on ARTE, dedicated an episode entirely to the subject of astronautics.
Design & Data helped the production company AVE to recover old video treasures from the ESA video archive.
